This tour will take you to Al Ain, nicknamed the “Garden City of the Emirates”. Al-Ain is an hour and a half away from Abu Dhabi by bus and is one of the oldest towns in the region, and once home to the founder of the country, the Sheikh Zayed. It is basically an oasis surrounded by stunning red sand dunes.

You will start off by visiting the Museum of Al Ain, where you will see archaeological discoveries of ancient peoples dating back to the Bronze and Iron Ages. Later on, you will head to the Palace Museum of Sheikh Zayed, which is where the founder of the UAE was born. Here you will learn a lot about his history through several pictures, artifacts, and explanations and you will understand why he is such a beloved person in all of the Middle East. You will also get the chance to visit the Oasis itself and see for yourself how the locals cultivate the palm trees (they’re considered patrimony of the state and if anyone is to harm any palm tree, they can be sentenced to prison) and learn about ancient irrigation systems. Lunch will be served at a traditional restaurant and after lunch, you will drive up to visit one of the largest camel farms in the Middle East to learn about the importance of this animal to the country and the multiple benefits they get out of them. After the tour is over you will head back to your desired destination as the tour finishes.

Pick Up Information:
  • Pick up at 08:00 in the morning. It can be changed since it is a private tour but taking into account the time needed to finalize the tour.
  • Pickup time may be delayed up to 40 minutes depending on your location and traffic.
  • The tour lasts between 8 and 9 hours depending on traffic.
  • This price includes pick-up from any of the hotels and apartments in the city, and from the port of Dubai (Port Rashid). Any Dubai airport pickup will be available from the Holiday Inn Airport hotel. Finally, for pick-ups at the Bab Al Shams, Al Maha, Jebel Ali, or any other resorts, there will be an additional charge.
  • These prices are based on a private tour basis.
  • The schedule of the visit may vary in the month of Ramadan

Cancellation policy:
  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the tour.

Children policy:
  • Children under 3 years old free entry
  • Between 3-10 years charged at child rate
  • Over 10 years old are considered adults

Language:
  • The tour is done exclusively in English.
